Anisyl Alcohol

Anisyl alcohol is naturally found in vanilla oil and aniseed oil. It appears colourless to pale yellow liquid, while being easy to crystallise. It has a floral odor and the scent of aniseed and hawthorn. It acts as a natural preservative in skin care products and cosmetics due to its ability to kill microbes - especially parasites.
