This product is natural, so it should be used within 12 months of opening. Store in a cool dry place. Keep out of direct sunlight.

Sea salt

Sodium chloride (NaCl), also known as salt, is an essential compound that our body uses to: absorb and transport nutrients, maintain blood pressure, maintain the right balance of fluids and transmit nerve signals. Salt absorbs dirt, toxins and deeply cleanses the pores of your skin. The mineral content of salt helps restore the protective barrier in the skin and helps it maintain moisture.

Sunflower Seed Oil

The vitamin E in sunflower seed oil has antioxidants that help with premature ageing and wrinkles, keeping your skin looking young and fresh. Sunflower oil also contains linoleic acid, which helps your skin retain moisture so it becomes less dry. 

Organic Olive Oil

Olive oil is rich in vitamins and antioxidants, and has been linked to better skin hydration, anti-ageing effects, and relief from sun damage.

Organic Shea Butter

Works as an emollient that softens and moisturises the skin. As it contains several types of fatty acids, including lineoleic, oleic, palmitic and stearic acids that improve the skin's natural barrier, shea butter also protects the skin from environmental damage such as pollutants. 

Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil

The saturated fat molecule is considered too large to penetrate the dermis and enter the bloodstream. In fact, hydrogenated oils are used as an occlusive layer; this means that their purpose is to settle on top of the skin and prevent any moisture from the skin from escaping. 

Polyglyceryl-3 Palmitate

This is derived from vegetable oils such as soya and coconut. It is exceptionally gentle to the skin and mild, which makes it ideal in products aimed at sensitive areas of the skin. 

Organic Cocoa Butter

The fat in cocoa butter forms a protective barrier on the skin to keep in moisture. Cocoa butter is also rich in natural plant compounds called phytochemicals. These substances can improve blood flow to the skin and slow skin aging by protecting it from damage caused by the sun's harmful UV rays.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that can be effective in reducing UV damage to the skin. And vitamin E applied topically can help nourish and protect your skin from free radical damage.

Iron Oxide Red (natural colour)

CI 77491 commonly known as iron oxides are naturally occurring chemical complexes composed of iron and oxygen. These two components of oxides are widely spread naturally. They are vital to humans and useful in most geological and biological activities. Red iron oxide is the super common pigment that gives the well-known red "rust" colour. It is also what gives the pinkish tones in your foundation.
